PLACE FOR SHARING

FAMILY AND INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIPS

Learning environment for anyone of any age. FVSA members attend monthly meetings to share ideas, participate in informative equine related activities, dine on themed pot-luck meals and snacks and enjoy the company and conversation with fellow equestrians. Attendance of these General Meetings start at 7:00 PM on the first Friday of each month except July and December (check the FVSA calendar for specific dates and times).

PERSONAL PLAYGROUND

USE OF FACILITIES

You will have full use of all the facilities arenas, grounds and equipment to practice or for training when you become a member. Take advantage to hone your skills for FVSA upcoming shows, take a trail ride around the grounds, jump the obstacles or prepare for special events.

SPECIAL PROGRAMS

DISCOUNT ON EVENTS/CLINICS

Fun for families and individuals who love horses. Enjoy special members only activities, priority consideration and discounts at shows, events, clinics and other special festivities. FVSA plans several free activities for the membership throughout the year.

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS

STEP-BY-STEP

  1. Find a sponsor; you must have a current Fox Valley Member to sponsor you*
  2. Attend any General Membership Meeting before June with your sponsor. Meetings are held the First Friday of each Month.
  3. Attend the next scheduled Director's Meeting after attending a General Membership Meeting. This meeting is held the Third Tuesday of each Month. At this meeting:
    • You must submit a membership application
    • You must submit your one-time initiation fee of $200
    • You must pay your yearly membership dues of $150 (Dues will not be pro-rated regardless of when during the year you join.)
    • You must agree to meet minimum volunteer hours requirement
  4. Attend the next scheduled General Membership Meeting. Your club keys available at this Meeting with your deposit of $20
  5. Attend at least one more Membership Meeting during the year

* Sponsor must have been a member of FVSA for at least two years and be a voting member. Sponsor responsible for acquainting new member with the grounds, rules, etc.

Individual Adult 19 and older 17 Hours
Single Parent with Children under 10 years old 17 Hours
Married Couple with no Children or Children under 10 24 hours
Single Parent with one Child over 10 24 Hours
Married Couple with Children 10 years old and over 35 Hours
Single Parent with Children 10 years and over 35 hours
